New Macro-Financial Assistance Program For Ukraine Can Make EUR 1 Billion

A new program of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine can make EUR 1 billion.

A source familiar with the negotiation process has informed the Ukrainian News Agency.

Earlier Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk stated that the European Commission has approved a new program of macro-financial assistance for Ukraine.

"It is an important step for supporting reforms in Ukraine and ensuring financial stability," he wrote.

It was also earlier reported that Ukraine intended to received EUR 1.8 billion in terms of the new macro-financial assistance from the European Union.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the EU representation in Ukraine earlier said that the allocation of a new program of macro-financial assistance by the European Union was impossible until the resumption of crediting by the International Monetary Fund.
