The Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv has refused to remove Hennadii Trukhanov from the post of mayor of Odesa.
The court made the relevant decision on Tuesday, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The petition from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to relieve Trukhanov of the post of mayor of Odesa is rejected," the presiding judge said.
According to him, the decision is subject to appeal.
The full text of the decision will be made public on March 3.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv Appeal Court upheld the Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv's decision to free Trukhanov on surety from Member of Parliament Dmytro Holubov (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction).
