The Kyiv Appeal Court has upheld the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv's decision to free Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov on surety from Member of Parliament Dmytro Holubov (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction).
A panel of judges made this decision, the Ukrainian News Agency correspondent reports.
The court thus rejected the appeal that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SACPO) filed against the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv's decision.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv refused to authorize Trukhanov's arrest on February 15 and freed him on surety.
At the same time, the court froze all the assets of Trukhanov and Deputy Mayor of Odesa Pavlo Vugelman.
