The Prosecutor General's Office has interrogated Valeria Hontareva, the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, and businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi on cases of PrivatBank.
Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko said this in an interview with the Levyi Bereh internet newspaper, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"I have lots of questions (to Hontareva). Two weeks ago she had long interrogations on other cases regarding PrivatBank, the National Bank of Ukraine and other banking institutions. So did Rozhkova )deputy governor of the National Bank)," he said.
Ihor Kolomoiskyi was interrogated too.
The interrogation was in the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the United States supports investigation into frauds in PrivatBank.
Respective investigation was promulgated by the National Bank of Ukraine on January 16, 2018.
