Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov has given his foreign passport following respective decision of the court.
His lawyer Oleksandr Lysak announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.
The lawyer said the mayor gave the passport on February 15.
The lawyer says the mayor does not intend to make foreign trips.
The Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office (SACPO) has requested the Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv to arrest property of Odesa City Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov and Deputy City Mayor Pavlo Vuhelman.
Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from a well-informed source in the SACPO.
In particular, the SACPO requested to arrest residential houses and land plots in Odesa.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SACPO urges a court to suspend Odesa Mayor Trukhanov.
The SACPO intends to appeal against the decisions of the Solomiyanskyi District Court of Kyiv which refused to arrest Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov and Deputy Mayor of Odesa Pavlo Vuhelman suspected of embezzlement during the sale of the Krayan plant.
