Law enforcers have arrested deputy mayor of Odesa Pavlo Vuhelman at the Boryspil international airport outside Kyiv.
A source in law enforcement agencies said this to Ukrainian News Agency.
According to the source, the deputy mayor of Odesa arrived from Israel.
He was transferred to officers of the National Anticorruption Bureau.
According to the source, law enforcers expect another official of the Odesa administration to arrive soon. He will be also arrested at the Boryspil airport.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Anticorruption Bureau (NACB) has detained Odesa City Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov at the Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv region) and served him with charges.
The NACB and the Specialized Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office (SACPO) served Trukhanov and four more Odesa City Council officials with charges in case upon sale of the Krayan plant.
