The United States has included the stockholders of Alfa Bank (Ukraine) and Ukrsotsbank into so-called Kremlin Report, a report on possible imposition of new sanctions against Russian oligarchs and people from the team of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This is said in the list of businessmen promulgated by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The list is divided into four parts: Presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers, Other High-Ranking Officials and Oligarchs.

The last list contains names of co-owners of Alfa Bank (Ukraine) and Ukrsotsbank: Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, German Han, Alexey Kuzmichov.

Besides, the list includes German Gref (head of the Russian-based Sberbank), Andrey Kostin (head of Russian-based Bank VTB), Sergey Gorkov (head of Russian-based Vnesheconombank / owner of Prominvestbank).

The said report itself does not envisage introduction of any sanctions against the aforementioned persons, however, creates grounds for possible introduction of such sanctions in the future.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, late in January, the United States imposed sanctions against 21 individuals and 21 legal entities due to the conflict in Ukraine.
