Poroshenko Introduces NSDC Decision On Main Indicators Of State Defense Order For 2018-2020

President Petro Poroshenko has introduced the National Security and Defense Council's decision on the main indicators of the state defense order for the period of 2018-2020.

This is stated in the presidential decree No. 16 dated January 29, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

This decree introduced the National Security and Defense Council's decision of January 17 entitled "On the Main Indicators of the State Defense Order for 2018, 2019, and 2020."

The text of the decision itself is classified.

The National Security and Defense Council's Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov is responsible for overseeing implementation of the decision.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Poroshenko has said that funding for the state defense order was increased by 37% to UAH 21 billion in 2018 compared to 2017.
