Energoatom Agrees With Westinghouse On Nuclear Fuel Supplies Until 2025

Kyiv-based Energoatom national nuclear energy generating company has agreed with Westinghouse Electric (the United States) on supplies of nuclear fuel until 2025.

Westinghouse has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, the new contact envisions supply of nuclear fuel to seven of 15 Ukrainian nuclear power units in 2021-2025.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Westinghouse states that the capacity of all Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs) can be boosted by 5-10%.
