Court Arrests U.S. Banking Card Of Saakashvili

On Thursday, January 18, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested a United States banking card of former President of Georgia / Leader of the New Forces Movement political party Mikheil Saakashvili.

Saakashvili said this at a briefing at the Kyiv Court of Appeal, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Saakashvili said that he had all his accounts abroad closed and the arrested card had been inactive.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the prosecutor's office prolonged a check into possible extradition of Mikheil Saakashvili.
