Analytics of the Citigroup bank estimate the volume of the Bitcoin market in Ukraine at USD 2.5 billion per annum.
The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from a statement published on Twitter by financial analytic of the ICU assets management company Mykhailo Demkiv.
According to the financial expert, countries with large sector of gray economy are naturally more prone to transactions in cryptocurrencies.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Bitcoin cryptocurrency in just one day grew in value by 2.17% to USD 11,373.
