In 2017, consumer prices rose by 13.7%.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In 2017, foodstuff and soft drinks prices rose by 17.7% (in December rose by 1.5%), prices for clothes and footwear increased by 0.9% (in December decreased by 2.4%), cost of housing-public utility services rose by 10.6% (in December rose by 0.3%), health care services increased in cost by 7.5% (in December rose by 0.8%) and cost of education increased by 14.9% (in December was stable).
In December 2017 over December 2016, consumer prices rose by 13.7%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November 2017, consumer prices increased by 0.9%, and in the first 11 months of 2017 the inflation made 12.5%.
In 2016, inflation was 12.4%, 43.3% in 2015, 24.9% in 2014, 0.5% in 2013 and in 2012 the deflation was 0.2%.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers worsened the forecast of gross domestic product growth from 3% to 1.8%, inflation from 8.1% to 11.2% in 2017.
Initially, the state budget for 2017 provided for inflation to grow at the level of 8.1%.
