Former president of Georgia / former chairperson of the Odesa Regional State Administration / leader of the New Forces Movement political party Mikheil Saakashvili intends to stop marches of his supporters in downtown Kyiv for the period of Christmas and New Year holidays.
Saakashvili said this to the press at the Kyiv Court of Appeal, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The former president of Georgia arrived at the court to attend hearing of the case against his assistant Severion Danhadze arrested on December 6.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 17, Saakashvili supporters attempted to seize the building of the Zhovtnevyi Palats in Kyiv.
