NACP Rejects The Only Bid Under Tender Invited For Audit Of E-Declarations Register

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has rejected the only bid that was submitted under the tender invited by the agency to conduct an audit of the register of electronic declarations filed by Ukrainian officials.

This is said in the tender documentation published in the ProZorro system of electronic procurements, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, the ESCOR information-analytical center was the only company that submitted a bid under the tender on December 4 offering to conduct the audit for UAH 190,000.

On December 11, the tender committee of the NACP held a meeting and decided the ESCOR's bid had not met the requirements of the tender.

In particular, the company did not confirm presence of specialists on telecommunication services and information protection among its staff.

In addition, the company did not provide the information about its experience in the telecommunication services, while in accordance with the tender requirements a successful bidder must have at least 10 years of such experience.

Given all this, the NACP rejected the bid.

The NACP told the Ukrainian News Agency that it had decided not to repeat the tender in 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the NACP invited the tender to conduct an independent audit of the register of electronic declarations for UAH 199,000.

The Transparency International human rights anticorruption non-government organization considered that the tender invited by the NACP contained corruption risks and called on the agency to revoke it.
