Officers of special services (FSB) of the Russian Federation and militants of the self-styled Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) are searching and incarcerating close associates of former so-called head of the self-styled Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) Ihor Plotnytskyi.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense for matters of Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) Andrii Lysenko said this at a briefing with the reference to the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Lysenko added that in order to disguise their activities, Russian special services issued fake alerts about explosives being planted in administrative buildings of Luhansk (Eastern Ukraine).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 21, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated LPR's so-called head Plotnytskyi had run to Russia.
Prior to that, a column of military hardware and personnel entered Luhansk [from Russia] stepping in the ongoing conflict between so-called head Plotnytskyi and suspended by him so-called minister of internal affairs of self-proclaimed LPR Igor Kornet.
