Neal Walker, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Ukraine, says Ukraine ranks the 9th in the world in the terms of the number of internally displaced persons. He announced this during a discussion in Kyiv, Ukrainian News Agency reports. He says 1.6 million of internally displaced persons have been registered in Ukraine and the country ranks the ninth in the world in the terms of the number of internally displaced persons. According to him, Ukraine does not have a complex strategy for state agency to work with internally displaced persons. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as at November 27, the Ministry of Social Policy registered 1,494,806 Internally Displaced Persons from the anti-terrorist operation zone and from the Russia-occupied Crimea, or 1,219,467 families.
