The High Council of Public Justice (HCPJ) dismissed Judge Mykola Chaus of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv.
The corresponding decision of the council was adopted at the meeting, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The High Council of Public Justice has decided to dismiss Judge Chaus Mykola Oleksiyovych," the head of the High Council of Public Justice Ihor Benedysiuk said.
Chaus was dismissed for absence at work without a lawful excuse.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late November the court in Moldova will consider the issue of extradition to Ukraine of Judge Chaus.
Earlier, the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, considered Chaus's request for political asylum and refused to grant it.
Chaus is suspected of bribery in Ukraine.
Ukraine sent documents for his extradition to the country.
