Kyiv City Council Restructures Foreign Liabilities For USD 101 Million

The Kyiv city council has restructured its foreign liabilities for USD 101.2 million.

The respective resolution of the Kyiv city council has been published in the Khreschatyk newspaper of the council, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The Kyiv city council restructures local foreign loans to save for Kyiv over UAH 800 million a year.

The terms of the restructure envisage the price of eurobonds no more than 7.5% per annuam.

The redemption of the principal sum will be in four tranches on June 15, 2021, December 15, 2021, June 15, 2022, December 15, 2022.

Payments of interests will be every six months.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv City State Administration intends to accomplish negotiations with Franklin Templeton Investments (the United States) on restructuring of foreign debt for USD 100 million before 2018.
