Former head of the Financial Control and Monitoring of Lifestyle Department of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) Hanna Solomatina has revealed to the public a correspondence with employee of the Presidential Administration Oleksii Horaschenkov.

Solomatina has published the correspondents on her Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"If there are any doubts that the Presidential Administration controls the NACP through a specially assigned person within the Administration, and if there are people who still believe that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will be able to conduct a fair investigation into the NACP fraud, then you must read fragments of my correspondence in WhatsApp messenger with Oleksii Horaschenkov," she wrote.

In the fragment of a dialogue between Horaschenkov and Solomatina, Horaschenkov prompted her "to spring up an attack on yulia and rabinovich" (most likely referring to Chairperson of the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Association political party Yuliya Tymoshenko and Member of the Opposition Bloc parliamentary faction Vadym Rabinovich).

In September, Horaschenkov requested to "hand over three versions on georgian, as agreed."

In addition, in the leaked fragment of correspondence, Horaschenkov implied about firing Solomatina and another NACP member Ihor Tkachenko.

"Given that on some cases that we had discussed previously the time has almost expired and you still have not shown the results, and there won't be any (as the SBU advises us on the situation), I think there is no sense to continue [with you] or Ihor [Tkachenko] will also face problems, and quite serious problems," Horaschenkov wrote.

Solomatina decided to publish a correspondence with Horaschenkov because she felt her life and wellbeing was under a serious threat.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 14, Solomatina accused management of the NACP of committing a fraud when checking electronic declarations filed by Ukrainian top officials.

Solomatina also named employee of the Presidential Administration Oleksii Horaschenkov a person assigned by the Presidential Administration to control the NACP.
