The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has written and is ready to pass to the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NACB) a notice of suspicion on Vitalii Trubarov, acting chairperson of the State Property Fund. Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko wrote this on his Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports. "The Prosecutor General's Office investigates illegal privatization of a part of the building of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry in January 2013. The story is typical for that time of bold split-up. The minister and his protege decided to open a beer restaurant in the building of the ministry on Khreschatyk Street in the center of Kyiv. Of course, it was for nothing" he wrote. On November 22, detective interrogated Vitalii Trubarov, who was the head of the Kyiv city office of the State Property Fund in January 2013 and now is acting head of the Fund. "He did not carry out required measures of control and signed the illegal agreement. He should have been arrested yesterday, but the law envisages the transfer of the case and the notice of suspicion to the NACB. Which has been done. Good luck and quick work to the colleagues!" Yurii Lutsenko wrote. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed acting chairperson of the State Property Fund Dmytro Parfenenko and appointed Vitalii Trubarov acting chairperson of the Fund. Since April 2017, Trubarov had been the head of the staff of the State Property Fund.
