The National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NACB) has opened a criminal case on possible unlawful enrichment of Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko.
Svitlana Olifira, the spokesperson for the NACB, announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.
According to her, the investigation began on October 30 following a court ruling.
Yurii Lutsenko has not been served a notice of suspicion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 15 the NACB detained one more person suspected of embezzlement of state funds allocated for an engineering-technical construction project on the border with Russia (the so-called Wall Project).
