In October 2017, the official level of unemployment fell by 0.1 percentage point to 1.1%.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the Service, as at November 1, 2017, 281,900 unemployed people were on the register of the State Employment Service of Ukraine.
As at October 1, 2017, 303,000 unemployed were on the register of the State Employment Service.
The statement reads that 217,000 unemployed were paid unemployment benefits from the State in October. The average unemployment benefit was UAH 2,137 in October.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2017, the official level of unemployment remained at the level of August at 1.2%.
