EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Extension Johannes Hahn is concerned over the facts of offensive attacks on Ukrainian journalists and has said the cases must be properly investigated.
Mr. Hahn wrote this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Johannes Hahn also wrote that the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine must be given proper financing from the state budget.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday, November 15, Johannes Hahn stayed in Ukraine on an official visit during which he intended to meet with authorities and mass media experts to discuss the support of the independent media and public broadcasting by the European Union.
