The Kyiv Appeal Court has canceled the home arrest of Deputy Defense Minister Ihor Pavlovskyi suspected of involvement in the embezzlement of UAH 149 million during procurement of fuel for the Defense Ministry.

Judge Denys Masenko announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The court released Pavlovskyi under bail of two Heroes of Ukraine Oleksandr Porkhun and Ihor Herasymenko.

The court also obliged Pavlovskyi not to leave Kyiv without a permission of detectives and to give his foreign passports. He is also prohibited from communicating with other figurants of the case.

The measure of preventive punishment is effective until December 10.
