The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SACPO) intends to demand from court an arrest warrant for Internal Minister Arsen Avakov's son Oleksandr Avakov and two other suspects with a possibility of bail proposed to be set at UAH 14 million for all.
The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from a well-informed source.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Oleksandr Avakov, former deputy minister of internal affairs Serhii Chebotar and one more suspect Volodymyr Lytvyn are suspected of defrauding the state of UAH 14 million during procurement of backpacks for the National Guard on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
