The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense states that the civilian was killed as a result of the firing of his car by militants at the checkpoint in Kalynivka of Donetsk region.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense for matters of Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) Andrii Lysenko has said this at a briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He promulgated intelligence information, according to which on October 28 militants on their own vehicles arranged two large-scale road accidents involving civil transport.
In addition, on October 30, two deserted Russian military, hiding from the chase, opened fire on the militants.
As a result, two militants were wounded.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense said that Russian servicemen looted the school in Donetsk region.
