First Deputy Information Policy Minister Emine Dzheppar states that Deputy Heads of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilmi Umerov and Ahtem Ciygoz will arrive in Kyiv on October 27.
She has written this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 25, Ciygoz and Umerov were released from criminal persecution and transferred to the Republic of Turkey following the results of the negotiations between President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On September 11, a court in Russia sentenced Ciygoz to eight years in high-security prison.
On September 27, the Russian court in Crimea sentenced Umerov to two years in penal colony settlement.
