Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko states that Former President of Georgia / Leader of the New Forces Movement Mikheil Saakashvili and his supporters are preparing to take over the state power in Ukraine.
The Prosecutor General said this at a meeting of the Council for Regional Development, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"A right to a peaceful protest does not grant a right to a forceful takeover of power that is being planned by a small group of approximately 150-200 people, who proclaiming themselves nearly saint, demand from the government to do what they say to do. They put on their protests backed financially from abroad - this is something I will prove later," Lutsenko said.
According to Lutsenko, plans for forceful takeover are confirmed by finding several secrete sashes with weapons and ammunition.
The Prosecutor General called for establishing a dialogue with the public instead of just waiting for reaction from law enforcers.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov denied a discord with President Petro Poroshenko over public protests near the Verkhovna Rada.
