Court Allows PGO To Inspect Bukovel Resort, Dnipro-Arena Football Stadium, Dnipropetrovsk Airport's Hangar

On October 12, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv permitted the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) to inspect the Bukovel ski resort (Ivano-Frankivsk region), the Dnipro-Arena football stadium and a hangar of the Dnipropetrovsk commercial airport.

This is said in the court's ruling, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, the PGO filed a request for the inspection under an investigation into abuse of office and misappropriation of property on large scale by higher officials of PrivatBank, investigating them under Section 5, Article 191 and Section 2, Article 364 of the Penal Code.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 4, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested a building of the Biola soft drinks production company (Dnipro), a building in Kyiv rented by the 1+1 TV-channel and a Boeing, under the embezzlement case against PrivatBank officials.

On September 14, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv arrested property of the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, Ukraine's largest ferroalloy manufacturer, the Marhanets Mining and Processing Works, the Ordzhonikidze Mining and Processing Works (Pokrov) and the DniproAzot ammonium fertilizer producer (Kamianske), all four are in Dnipropetrovsk region, in relation to an investigation under the PrivatBank embezzlement case.
