The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has lifted criminal responsibility of former chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Bondarenko suspected of forging his diploma on higher education due to the lapse of claim (the case has expired).
The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from a source within the Kyiv City Administration.
Moreover, Bondarenko's defense lodged a complaint against a prosecutor of the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office No. 10 accusing him of lack of court action to lift criminal responsibility of the former suspect given the expiration of the case.
On October 3, the court rejected the claim.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the prosecutor's office charged Volodymyr Bondarenko with forgery of his diploma on higher education.
On August 22, Kyiv Mayor / Chairperson of the Kyiv City State Administration Vitalii Klitschko fired former chair of the Kyiv City Administration Volodymyr Bondarenko.
