SBU Summons For Interrogation Russian Military Dubinsky Suspected Of Involvement In Downing MH-17 Flight And Other 4 Russian Citizens

The Security Service of Ukraine summons for interrogation Russian military Sergei Dubinsky suspected of involvement in downing the MH-17 flight in Donetsk region in July 2014 and other four Russian citizens.

This was published in the Uriadovyi Kurier governmental newspaper on October 12, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Russian military Sergei Dubinsky (born in 1964) was the head of intelligence of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic. He is summoned for October 26-31 for interrogation and receiving a notice of suspicion.

The Security Service of Ukraine also summons Russian citizens Oleg Pulatov, Eugene Vasiliev, Eldar Orudzhev, and Eduard Gilazov who also took part in the Donbas conflict.

The SBU also summons for interrogation within the case Ukrainian citizens Oleh Shliapin, Serhii Brakovskyi, Oleksandr Dudnychenko, Leonid Kharchenko.

In February 2017, Bellingcat, an international expert group of journalists, said that a retired Russian Federation officer - Sergey Nikolaevich Dubinsky - was involved in the relocation of the Buk TELAR that downed Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in July 2014 in Donetsk region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine, Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, and the Netherlands have signed a memorandum on political support for criminal prosecution of those guilty of downing the MH-17 flight in Donetsk region in July 2014.
