SBU: 300 Serbs Have Fought Alongside LPR Militants Since ATO Beginning

More than 300 citizens of Serbia have fought on the side of the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic" (LPR) since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Hrytsak, announced this at a news briefing, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to him, the Serbian citizens were stationed in Alchevsk.

He said that the SBU has already sent information about the participation of Serbs in the fighting in the Donbas to Serbia.

Hrytsak named several Serbs who fought on the side of the LPR.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SBU has banned four politicians from Serbia and one from the Czech Republic from entering Ukraine for visiting the Russia-annexed Crimea.
