One citizen of Ukraine has died as a result of a crash of an An-12 plane in the Democratic Republic of Congo on September 12.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Mariyana Betsa wrote this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The Democratic Republic of Congo has officially confirmed the death of one Ukrainian citizen as a result of the crash of the An-12 plane in Congo," she wrote.
Media reported that a military An-12 plane crashed in the Democratic Republic of Congo on September 30. There were 12 crewmembers.
According to the local media Actualite.cd, there might be 3 Ukrainian citizens among them.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, two citizens of Ukraine have died as a result of a plane crash in Greece on September 22.
