Lutsenko: Ukraine Having Grounds To Deny Extraditing Saakashvili To Georgia

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko says Ukraine has grounds to deny extraditing former president of Georgia / former chairperson of the Odesa Regional State Administration / leader of the New Forces Movement political party Mikheil Saakashvili to Georgia.

He has said this at a briefing in Kharkiv, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 22, the Mostyskyi district court fined Saakashvili UAH 3,400 for illegal border crossing.

Georgia requests extradition of Saakashvili from Ukraine.
