DPR States About Opening So-Called Representative Office In Marseille, In France, On September 25

The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has announced about opening its so-called international representative office in Marseille (the Republic of France) on September 25.

The DPR has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The fifth representative office of the Donetsk People's Republic in the European Union was opened in France," the report states.

According to the report, the office was headed by municipal counsel at the Mayor's Office in Marseille Gerald-Hubert Fayard.

The DPR stated earlier that it had opened representative offices in Greece, Italy, Finland and Czech Republic.

Commenting on the event, Ambassador of Ukraine to France Oleh Shamshur stressed the non-official status of the so-called office.

"The inauguration of the so-called representative center of DPR in France is a despicable attempt at legitimization of a terrorist organization with the help of pro-Russian patsies," the Ambassador wrote on Twitter.

Shamshur wrote that the "center" has no official status and neither France nor international community will every recognize the DPR.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France applied to the prosecutor's office concerning opening of the so-called representative office of DPR in Marseille planned on September 25.
