Antimonopoly Committee Allows Tihipko Indirectly Buy More Than 50% Of Building Invest Group Developer

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed Devisal Limited company, the Cypriot offshore of businessman Serhii Tihipko, to buy more than 50% of the shares of Yuansa Limited (Cyprus), which owns the Building Invest Group developer.

The press service of the AMCu announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, AMCU granted permission to Devisal Limited to purchase more than 50% of the Yuansa Limited company.

Devisal Limited is a minority shareholder of a number of companies of Serhii Tihipko (TAS insurance company, TAS insurance group, TAS Asset Management).

According to the analytical system YouControl, Devisal Limited owns 100% of the shares of Berezhanskyi Kvartal LLC and is controlled by Serhii Tihipko.

In turn, Yuansa Limited owns the Building Invest Group company, which is the developer of such an object as the Podil shopping and entertainment complex in Kyiv.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Serhii Tihipko is the owner of the TAS financial and industrial group.

In the financial market, the group is represented by TAScombank and TAS insurance group.

In December 2016, Tihipko completed the transaction for the purchase of Universal Bank and Aegon Life Ukraine insurance company.

During 2017, TAScombank acquired a part of the assets and liabilities of insolvent Diamantbank and Novyi Bank.
