The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved issue of eurobonds for USD 3 billion at 7.375% per annum. The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from the Executive Order of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 696 dated September 18. The eurobonds are issued for USD 3 billion, including UAH 1.682 billion to buy out eurobonds issued in 2015 at USD 1,060 for USD 1,000 of the principal amount of the first series of bonds and at USD 1,067.5 for USD 1,000 of the principal amount of the second series and payment of accrued interest. The face value per bond is USD 200,000. Interest income on the bonds is paid annually on March 25 and September 25 starting March 25, 2018. The bonds are to be redeemed by equal parts worth 25% of the principal amount on March 25 and September 25, 2031, March 25 and September 25, 2032. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 18, Ukraine offered eurobonds for USD 3 billion at 7.375% per annum. The deal is the first market placement for Ukraine since 2013.
