The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine refutes some media reports saying Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andrii Deschytsia has been invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to give explanations regarding so-called "Saakashvili case [Mikheil Saakashvili, former President of Georgia and former head of the Odesa regional state administration]." Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Mariyana Betsa wrote this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports. On Monday, Ambassador Deschytsia wrote on Twitter he has not been invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. He wrote he was taking part in a meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 10, Saakashvili and his supporters broke through a cordon of policemen and entered Ukraine at the Shehyni border checkpoint. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland deems "Saakashvili case" a domestic political game in Ukraine and says Poland is not a participant in the game.
