Kyivvodokanal intends to raise tariffs for cold water and drainage from 2018. The press service of the company announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports. So, in 2018 the residents of the capital will pay for 1 cubic meter of cold water UAH 9.47, and for 1 cubic meter drainage - UAH 8.99. It is stated, that the share of payment for cold water supply and drainage in the general payment for utilities, even if the tariff is changed, on average will be about 5%. Increase in tariffs is associated with a rise in price of electricity, fuel and lubricants, reagents, as well as changes in the level of depreciation charges, repairs of fixed assets and increased wages. The minutes of the meeting were published on the site of the enterprise and sent to the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utility Services. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kyivans received payment documents with an increased tariff for maintenance of multi-apartment buildings and adjacent territories in August.
