The Prosecutor General's Office has notified former president Viktor Yanukovych and former justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych of being suspects in the case on seizure of power by returning the Constitution of 1996 in 2010.
Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko wrote this on his Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Lutsenko says the special investigation department of the Prosecutor General's Office carries out the investigation into case.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday, the Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv will continue the trial of Viktor Yanukovych accused of high treason.
