Of the at least 44 cases of kidnapping Ukrainians in the Russia-annexed Crimea recorded since 2014, 18 people are still missing.
Tamila Tasheva, a coordinator of the Krym.SOS. non-government organization, said this at a press conference held on the occasion of the International Day of Victims of Kidnapping, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Amnesty International demands from Russia to free all Crimean Tatar activists and stop prosecuting dissent in the annexed Crimea.
