The Kyivenergo power distribution company (Kyiv) states that as of August 1 consumer debt for heat energy made UAH 3.6 billion.
The company has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement reads that major debtors were the population (UAH 1.4 billion) and housing management organizations (UAH 761 million).
The largest debt increase was demonstrated by municipal companies, population and companies and organizations financed from the state budget.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as at January 1, Kyivenergo estimated consumer debt for electric energy at UAH 677.7 million.
