PGO Of Ukraine Notifies Russia's Duma MP Zhirinovsky Of Being Suspected Of Financing Terrorism

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has notified Russian State Duma deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky of his being suspected of financing terrorism.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The Prosecutor General's Office has drawn a notification of suspicion of financing terrorism for Russian Federation citizen V. Zhirinovsky," reads the statement.

The statement reads that the pre-trial investigation has established that Zhirinovsky created a group comprising Russian MPs and members of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia in March-April 2014 to collect funds in Russia for provision of terrorist organizations Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk's People's Republic.
