The Kyivenergo power distribution company (Kyiv) states that as of August 1 consumer debt for electric energy ran UAH 1.1 billion.
The company has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the statement, in July, the arrears grew by UAH 11 million.
Major debtors are municipal companies, population and companies and organizations financed from the state budget.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as at January 1, Kyivenergo estimated consumer debt for electric energy at UAH 677.7 million.
