Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) intends to open the Kyiv - Eilat (Israel) flight from October 30.
The company announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The new flight will be carried out twice a week on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with two classes of service - business and economic.
The flight duration is 3.5 hours.
Flights will be carried out to/from Ovda International Airport, located 60 km north of the resort town of Eilat.
The price of a one-way economy class ticket from Kyiv including all taxes and fees is from UAH 3,519 (the price may vary depending on fluctuations of the hryvnia exchange rate to the US dollar), from Eilat - from USD 119.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, UIA launched a new Kyiv - Bergamo (Italy) flight.
In compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards, in 2016, Ukraine International Airlines received net profit of UAH 387.885 million.
In 2016, the airlines increased its net revenues by 35.8% or UAH 4.696 billion year over year to UAH 17.829 billion.
The UIA fleet consists of 42 aircraft, of which 22 are Boeing 737 NG.
One of the ultimate beneficiaries of the airline company is PrivatBank's former co-owner Ihor Kolomoiskyi.
