Cabinet Lowers Gas Consumption Rate For Consumers Without Gas Meters By 25%

The Cabinet of Ministers has lowered the rate of consumption of natural gas for consumers without gas meters by 25%.

The relevant decision was made at a government meeting on Friday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The rate of consumption of natural gas for a consumer with a gas cooker and centralized hot water supply was reduced from 4.4 to 3.3 cubic meters per person per month.

The rate was reduced from 7.1 to 5.4 cubic meters in cases for consumers with no centralized hot water supply and gas-fired water heater and from 14 to 10.5 cubic meters for those with no gas-fired water heater.

During the period of absence of centralized hot water supply, the rate of consumption of natural gas per cooker will be set at 5.4 cubic meters per person per month.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers set the rate of consumption of natural gas at 4.4 cubic meters per person for a consumer with a gas stove and centralized hot water supply, 7.1 cubic meters for a consumer with no centralized hot water supply or gas-fired water heater, and 14 cubic meters for a consumer with a gas stove and a water heater.
