The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs has invited a tender for procurement of non-lethal weapons for Ukraine.
Ukrainian News agency learnt this from the state procurements portal Federal Business Opportunities.
In compliance with tender requirements, the United States will provide Ukraine with protection ammunition, training guns and bullets.
Potential bidders will have to submit their bids before August 22.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July, special representative of the United States for Ukraine Kurt Volker called for providing Ukraine with defense weaponry.
In June, the United States did not yet decide on providing Ukraine with defense weapons.
