The State Border Guard Service (SBGS) has banned Russian poetess Irina Astakhova from Ukraine for three years.
Spokesperson of the SBGS Oleh Slobodian wrote this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Slobodian said that Astakhova was detained at Odesa airport, and during questioning she confirmed that she had visited the Russia-annexed Crimea through temporarily closed border checkpoints.
Under the current law, Astakhova was banned from Ukraine for three years.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 16, the Security Service of Ukraine stated about intention to ban Russian musician Vasily Vakulenko (Basta) from Ukraine.
