Defense Ministry Denies Selling Rocket Engines To North Korea

The Defense Ministry of Ukraine denies selling rocket engines to North Korea.

Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak told this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"This is another fake," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the New York Times publication, citing the opinion of experts, has reported that the Ukrainian plant was possibly involved in development of missile technologies by North Korea.

The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council's Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov has said that Ukraine did not supply weapons or military technology to North Korea.

The state enterprise Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant named after A.M. Makarov Production Association (YUZHMASH, Dnipro) denies any involvement in the development of rocket technologies in North Korea.
