11 heads of foreign defense ministries will attend the military parade on the Independence Day, August 24, in Kyiv. Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak told this to journalists as he introduced new principal of the Ivan Cherniakhivskyi National University of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports. In addition, Poltorak said that 10 foreign military subdivisions confirmed their participation in the parade, nine of them are member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, NATO military will take part in the military parade in Kyiv on the Day of Ukraine's Independence on August 24. Participating in the parade will be 4,500 Ukrainian servicemen, including 1,000 participants of the antiterrorist operation.
